I am a Psychodynamic therapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council and British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.  I am governed by the standards of conduct, performance and ethics of these bodies. 
 
My clinical background and training make me a skilled and empathic listener, and my approach is psychodynamic/psychoanalytic that can help you understand how your current feelings and behaviour are shaped by past experiences and unconscious impulses. 
 
I offer a secure, confidential and non-judgmental space in which we can discuss issues that may be troubling you: emotional or relational difficulties, anxiety, life transitions, career conflicts, stress, depression or grief and loss. Alongside my private counselling practice with adults, I continue working with children and young people who struggle with social, emotional and mental health difficulties and their families as a trauma informed clinical social worker in a specialist team.  I have experience with depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment disorders, ADHD, autism, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and behavioural difficulties. I also work as a psychodynamic counsellor for Wessex Counselling and Psychotherapy service in Frome. 
 
With a free initial phone consultation, I offer confidential and affordable 50-min sessions  to adults. The initial  phone consultation is free with no obligation on either side. 
 

On-going counselling sessions are at the same time every week and last 50 minutes and are £50 per session. I do have currently some limited availability. This changes so please contact me at
