Penny Stirling

M.A, B.A., R.S.Hom. Homœopath

I have been a homeopath for 25 years now, graduating from the School of Homeopathy in 1988 and registered with the Society of Homeopaths since 1989. I still find my work absorbing, fascinating and I do as many courses as I can and read up on new remedies.

I love to meet new people and to work with them to find out how their ailments are connected to their path as unique beings. Homeopathy relies on individualisation of symptoms.  No two people with the same complaint are alike, and this is what I enjoy.

I consider it a privilege to work with people in an ongoing way, either because they have longstanding chronic complaints or because they come back to see me now and again when they need something. There are a few patients who first saw me as children that I have continued to treat into adulthood.  I have worked a lot with children and young people as well as adults.  I have three grandchildren of my own and I like to play and try to see the world from their perspective.

In the last few years, I have become more involved in supervising other homeopaths, both students and established practitioners.  I have been dong an advanced supervision course with the Centre for Supervision Training and Development in Bath.  I try to bring to this work the essence of homeopathy, which is minimal and potent, as well as other self-development work that I have done in art, movement and dreamwork.  I also work as clinical supervisor for the School of Homeopathy in Stroud.

I have published a couple of Provings , of Crack Willow and Bewick Swan, with the help of Peter Fraser.  They can be found on the School of Homeopathy website and in Jeremy Sherr’s book, Dynamic Provings 2.

In the homeopathic consultation, the space was provided for me to express emotions fully. In this safe environment, I felt heard and experienced kindness and compassion. I have seen Penny over the last 18 years, and though I have not had many consultations in that period, I have grown and I am continuing to grow into my true nature.
Homeopath and Healer from Bristol

A friend who had his hayfever completely cured by homeopathy recommended Penny Stirling. I am so glad he did, it has made a huge difference to my quality of life in the summer, I feel so much better. After spending hundreds of pounds on other treatments, this would be the one I would recommend to others.

Penny has been amazing to work with, her energy is warm and welcoming, and her ability to pinpoint where you are, and what’s going on is fantastic. I have made some amazing shifts and have developed a deeper understanding of myself. I would recommend her to anyone wanting that deeper insight.
