My journey to become a Naturopath started in 2010, when I was enrolled on an electrical engineering degree course in Switzerland. Within the first week I realised that this is not the field I want to be working in and that I’d rather do something else where I can make a real difference for people. I quit my engineering course and started a 6 year long part-time Naturopathy course at the Institute for Naturopathy in Lucerne, Switzerland. I finished my degree in Naturopathy with focus on Herbal Therapy in 2016 and, together with Melanie, my wife and Craniosacral Therapist, I worked with many clients and a variety of health issues in my own practice in Switzerland for two years before moving to England in March 2018.
During the last two years of my studies in Switzerland I also worked on two books, together with the founder of the Naturopathic Institute and the Head of Education for European Naturopathy at the Institute, which were published in December 2017 and are now in use at the Institute for teaching students about herbs and foods.
A part of my studies also included the foundations in Homeopathy, which I was and still am very interested in. In 2018 I decided to deepen my knowledge in this field and started a 4 year diploma course at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
I love to work as a Naturopath and to help people to find their way towards a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle and a better understanding of health and disease. The way I look at my profession it is not only our duty to help people to get over health issues but also to teach our clients how to avoid health issues in the first place and to provide some orientation on the path to a healthier life.
In our experience, it often can be very useful to combine Naturopathy and Craniosacral Therapy as they work on different levels and issues can be resolved quicker if the two therapy methods are used in combination. This is why we offer sessions with only one practitioner and combined sessions with both of us.
