Penny Stirling
M.A, B.A., R.S.Hom.
Homœopath
Penny Stirling has been in practice since graduating from the School of Homeopathy in 1988. She has been registered with the Society of Homeopaths since 1989.
She has also taught homeopathy since that time, beginning with short first aid homeopathy courses for the general public, and then moving on to run study groups for homeopathic students. For the last 10 years, she has taught at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud. She has participated in supervision courses with Sheila Ryan and is experienced in supervising students. She receives supervision herself and continues to study homeopathy both informally and by taking part in training with more experienced practitioners. She has taken part in several provings of new homeopathic remedies and has published the provings of Crack Willow and Bewick swan, with the help of Peter Fraser.
“I enjoy treating a wide variety of people and conditions. I like the fact that homeopathy can be used equally well as a rapid way to resolve minor physical symptoms, or as a long term strategy to help people with chronic conditions or to support personal growth. I am endlessly fascinated by how people are different and I love the way that homeopathy values and encourages those differences.”
Penny enjoys walking, movement, meditation making, and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.
