Louise Deplae I have had a strong belief in the healing power of homeopathy since discovering it about 25 years ago. I continue to feel passionate about homeopathy! I started my training in 2005 and graduated from the School of Homeopathy in Devon in June 2009. I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths, the UK's largest registering body for professional homoeopaths. When my family of four were younger, I was a member of the West London Birth Centre, where I ran ‘active birth’ parenting classes and supported many women in labour. My second child was born in France in the hospital of Dr. Michel Odent, a pioneering figure in the active birth movement and my following two children were home births. I retain a great interest in pregnancy and childbirth and see a strong link between my experience of working with the Birth Centre and my desire to be in a healing profession. I have recently moved to Wells from Ludlow in Shropshire where I lived for the last 20 years and am very pleased to be working as part of a team at the Remedy centre. My work has always been in the world of education; a modern languages teacher and most recently a manager in adult education. I am very keen to organise open evenings or run courses in topics of interest such as homeopathic first aid, pregnancy and childbirth, common childhood ailments or travel remedies. In my spare time I enjoy the countryside, the sea, walking with my two dogs, yoga, singing, reading, theatre and my large family. During my clinical training in the last two and a half years I have had very good results treating a range of conditions and am happy to treat patients of all ages.
